I have always loved animals.
From as far back as I can remember, I have always had animals in my life.
14 years ago, I had my first child. I was concerned that the love and attention I was able to give to my animals was going to come into conflict when my son was born.
Of course, much of my time and energy had to be given to my tiny baby, when he came into our lives. But, I did learn quickly that my animals, some of them being in my life longer than my son-even now, are much easier to care for and less stressful overall.
I put together a few memes to show my feelings on the subject. The perspective of a mother to both human an animal children. What I’ve seen, heard, and learned from raising them both, together, over these last 14 years.
